GETHSEMANE TEACHING ON FAITH: BY (P. DANIEL)
I pray the Lord will bless you all and minister to us
Wherever you are just worship the Lord
Say a word to Him and appreciate him
There is a faith that can get answers to any prayers
I will be teaching tonight on how to build your faith
Before we proceed in the teaching of Gethsemane teaching on Faith, firstly let us define what faith is
Faith is not just believing
Faith is more than believing
Faith is a major currency in prayers
To pray without faith is to waste your time
Faith is what makes prayer thick, a prayer void of faith is just poem
“And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].”
Mark 11:22-24 AMPC
From the above scripture we saw that the first thing Jesus said here is HAVE FAITH IN GOD(constantly) not once in a while
Then if you have faith in God and there is no doubt in your heart you can then ask God for anything and he will answer
* Any time you pray and you don’t get answers check your faith
*If your faith says yes, God won’t say no
” Faith is a powerful weapon and it is what makes the equation of prayer balanced
Faith is a constant K in the equation of prayers
*People think faith is just to believe and confess and expect results
No that is not faith
It is an element of faith
Many people have been disappointed because they just pick a word, believe it and act on it
*What is faith?
“NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].”

*The first thing to learn about faith is that faith is a NOW thing:ok_hand:

Faith is NOW
NOW
NOW
NOW
THE FAITH OF YESTERDAY NO MATTER HOW HEAVY OR DEEP IS NOT SUFFICIENT FOR NOW
YOU CANNOT BANK ON THE FAITH OF YESTERDAY
YOU NEED A FAITH
Now Faith
So if I want to pray now
I need faith for now
The fact that I had faith for that particular prayer last year doesn’t mean I am ok for today
I need a faith for this season
NOW FAITH IS
“NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].”
Hebrews 11:1 AMPC
From this scripture we see that faith is a NOW confirmation
I.e I have the confirmation NOW
Faith is A NOW ASSURANCE
I.e I have the assurance now not later or then.
Faith is a NOW TITLE DEED (Documents of the land I am about to purchase already in my hand even when I have not gotten the land physically but I have the documents already in my hand)
Title deed is a document for landed property.
Nobody gets documents unless he has paid, but bible says
FAITH IS THAT NOW NOW I HAVE ALREADY THE DOCUMENTS OF WHAT I AM PURCHASING EVEN BEFORE I GET THE LAND PHYSICALLY, I HAVE IT ALREADY AND I HAVE THE DOCUMENTS WITH ME, so there is an assurance, confidence that I have already, not a guess work but as a result of the documents in my hand
Faith is NOW THE PROOF OF THE THINGS I HOPE FOR.
I.e I have the proof already with me, I am not trying to get the proof, I already have the proof
The NOW CONVICTION OF THE REALITY
Faith is that now I PERCEIVE As REAL FACT what is not revealed in sense
You see faith is more than just believing
To believing what
So we pray from a point of Assurance, proof, conviction,
*We don’t pray for proof, we pray from the proof*
This is the only way to get answers to prayers
So many people have prayed and claimed they had faith and yet they were disappointed
They didn’t really had faith initially
The question is , do you have the documents of the land before going to the land to claim your land
Because when you get to the land the only thing that will guarantee you access to the land is your documents
Now how do we get this documents, title deed, assurance, proof
Faith is believing what God told you and then acting on it until it delivers
Faith is not just believing anything and expecting results
God told me I will get married in 2018, he told me in 2013, but 2017 ending i began to hold God by His word and prepare for marriage, I didn’t have a kobo but I had a title deed because God said it, not just my wish
And guess what I got married and all expenses was covered and it is a success today why because God said it, I believed it, I acted on it and I saw results
*I didn’t pray for marriage because I needed to get married but I prayed based on what God has said*
*God only supplies for the vision he gives
Faith is not just believing
But believing what God said to you
If God didn’t say he will do something for you and you start praying about it say you have faith, you will just be troubling yourself
The real faith is to believe what God has said and act on it
The strength of faith is in what God said not what we wish
Abraham is called the father of faith because he believed what God said to him not what he wanted or desired
The strength of faith is in what God has said
This applies to scriptures
We can hold God by His word to us in the scripture and say sit on that word until there is title deed with us and a NOW FAITH IS PRODUCE then go to God in prayers
If you just quote a scripture without you sitting on it and the scripture producing a NOW confident ASSURANCE IN YOU, then you are just wasting your time
*Before you pray ensure there is a NOW faith in you*
This can only come when the WORD OF GOD COME ALIVE TO YOU

THE LORD SPOKE TO ME
SO I BELIEVE WHAT HE SAID
OUR BUDGET IS RUNNING TO 4Million
How will I get it and I don’t have fear
I believe HIM, HE SAID HE IS COMMITTED, CAPABLE AND RESPONSIBLE, He will touch the heart of men to give
No man who doesn’t hear the voice of God dare such projects without back up and plan B
How do you get faith?
How do you build your faith
1. By hearing the word of God, either from God directly or through preachers
“So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself).”

“Faith, then, is birthed in a heart that responds to God’s anointed utterance of the Anointed One.”

Also at salvation a measure of faith is deposited into you

Everyone has a measure of faith
The difference is our level of faith development
The more you consume the word the more your faith is developed
Faith comes by hearing God’s word
Everyone has a measure of faith
But faith is built up by praying in the HolyGhost
*So if I pray more that you, it means my faith will be stronger than yours
The more I pray the more my faith*
“But you, my delightfully loved friends, constantly and progressively build yourselves up on the foundation of your most holy faith by praying every moment in the Spirit.”

But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit;”

Men of great faith are men of great praying in the HolyGhost
And finally there is a gift of faith
This is the working of the HolyGhost upon men to do the impossible, it is called the mountain moving faith
It is a gift but the Bible says covet earnestly the best gifts so you can pray for this mountain moving faith
“To another [wonder-working] faith by the same [Holy] Spirit, to another the extraordinary powers of healing by the one Spirit;”

You need to build your faith
Remember faith must be NOW THING
SO YOU MUST HEAR THE WORD REGULARLY TO HAVE A CURRENT FAITH
PRAY IN THE HOLYGHOST REGULARLY
ASK FOR THE GIFT OF FAITH REGULARLY
